Holland Park, London - Kitchen & Living Room Joinery

Made in collaboration with the project's interior designer, this Holland Park commission covered the joinery for both the kitchen and the living room. Working to the designer's scheme, Goose collaborated, manufactured and installed.

The kitchen pairs deep claret bases with paler wall cabinets, set against a veined marble worktop and full-height splashback, finished with slim brass pulls. The panelled doors carry a fine moulded profile throughout, painted by hand for a depth of finish that sprayed work doesn't reach. In the living room, painted fronts open to reveal interiors lined in walnut veneer, lit from within, with a bowed drawer front and a shelf set aside for a record player a quiet contrast of restrained painted exterior and warm timber inside, made to display as much as to store. Antiqued brass handles and knobs run across both rooms, tying the two spaces together as a single commission.
